Liberate @ Eddie's

Student wellbeing is the fundamental foundation upon which learning happens. St. Edmund's, through Liberate, supports students in becoming happy, confident, independent, successful learners.

Liberate is a dynamic approach to education that provides students with the opportunity to fully engage with their learning through:

  • Best practice and contemporary teaching
  • Exciting technology
  • Dynamic classroom environment and management structure
  • Authentic relationships
  • Stimulating, structured units of work

Liberate's success can be measured through students' ability to think critically, make decisions, and through their positive sense of worth.

Student wellbeing is at the core of all that we aim to achieve at St. Edmund's. Through Liberate, staff differentiates and individualises learning and experiences to meet the diverse needs of all students. We aim to give all students a positive sense of self, so that they are happy and open to learning. Beyond that we raise expectations to encourage and expect critical thinking and analysis.
