Each Friday afternoon all students participate in school sport. Each Term the activities differ and can include team games, swimming, athletics, ten-pin bowling, indoor soccer & netball, cricket, tennis.

3T program3T logo3T PROGRAM Trim Taut and Technical is a multifaceted program aimed at leaving our students fit, healthy and armed for the world beyond St Edmund's. This program commenced at the beginning of 2007 with before school gym programs, lunch time swim squads and soccer games increasing the energy level and confidence of many of our children. This program has made an outstanding difference to the students overall fitness level and self esteem, which in turn has made a difference in the classroom with students much more settled.

COMBINED METROPOLITAN ATHLETICS CARNIVAL Congratulations to the St. Edmund's Athletics Team for becoming the Champions of the Combined Metropolitan Carnival held on 28 May 2008. Our competitors demonstrated great courage throughout the day and I'm sure a number of personal bests were achieved. Everyone contributed to the points table as we consistently gained the top three positions in almost every event. Thank you to those parents who ventured out to Olympic Park and supported our athletes and a special thanks to staff for working tirelessly to get our competitors to the right events at the right time. Bring on 2009! Well done St. Edmund's Athletics Team!

COMBINED SCHOOLS SWIMMING CARNIVAL was held on 28 March 2008 at The Ruth Evernuss Aquatic Centre in Auburn where St. Edmund's Swimming Team came home with the trophy for Champion school. This was a testament to the effort of the students on the day and during their training sessions in previous weeks leading up to the event. There were 30 schools competing at the event from all over the Sydney region. Teams travelled from as far away as Picton High, Endeavour Sports High (at Cronulla) and Windsor. Our students performed magnificently in the pool and their support for each other during the event was outstanding. Congratulations St. Edmund's Swimming Team!
