St. Edmund's New Crest
Many of the Christian Brothers' schools founded post 1920 adopted a variation of the Christian Brothers' own Congregational 1920 crest.
St. Edmund's was one of these schools.
Over the last two years we have been looking at the image of the school.Out of this has come the need to change the logo which presently has no specific features of St. Edmund's.
In designing the logo we have retained the Celtic Cross, Circle and the Star which have strong associations with the Christian Brothers, Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) and the Edmund Rice (ER) network.
We have added the vine which is also part of the Edmund Rice Special Education Services (ERSES) logo. The Braille symbol honours St. Edmund's foundation as a school for blind students. The colours are the same as the new uniform which are cherry red, navy and white.
