Vision Support at Eddie's
St Edmund's College offers a range of services across the curriculum to support students with low vision. Specialist staff supports classroom teachers in the provision of individualised programs to address students' current and future needs.
Assistive and adaptive technology, alternative format production: Braille instruction, large print and audio files. Development of knowledge and skills in the use of adaptive and assistive technology, including low vision aids, voice output to enable access to computers and the internet. Mobility skill development, including joint programs with Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Independent living and social skill development.
