Visual Arts
Visual Arts is a mandatory course by the Board of Studies for Years 7 and 8. At St Edmund's it is run in exactly the same manner as it would be at any other high school, covering exactly the same outcomes at individual student's level. Students gain experience working with different mediums and forms, they study past and present artists to encourage and inspire their artwork. We endeavour to have a broad choice of experiences over the two years so students can succeed in at least some of the areas. Student's artwork is constantly displayed around the school and many students artwork is framed and sold at our major fundraising event.
